Review | Two Can Keep A Secret by Karen M. McManus

Title: Two Can Keep A Secret
Original Rating: Four Stars
Genre: Crime Suspense
Author: Karen M. McManus

An engrossing adventure of sorts where you can't flip the pages fast enough and don't even suspect for a second who it actually was till the last chapter.

One of my favorite genre Suspence Thrillers have something more than just good entertainment to offer. And I loved the fact this one kept me guessing.

The female protagonist, Ellery Crocoran, is a huge fan of crime suspenses who has done her own research on the genre because her aunt, Sarah disappeared more than 20 years back.. It doesn't help the fact that Sarah was, her mother Sadie's, twin sister.
Ellery being a twin herself can't get over the fact that how can one not talk about the disappearance of her own sister. She wants to know the secrets her mother is hiding. So when she comes to live with her Nana in the senior year of high school, she wants to find out the secrets of Echo Ridge, a small-town America.
What she didn't expect was for the serial killer who killed a prom queen Lacey five years ago to resurface and start the game of cat and mouse all over again.

Malcolm is the younger brother of Declan Keller who was the ex-boyfriend of Lacey and the prime suspect in her murder. With the drama restarting again, he becomes the centre of all the unwanted attention and even a suspect of a teen girls disappearance.

But the question is, all these disappearances/murders related or is this some copy cat using someone else's name for his/her own motive.

A question-it-all read where you can trust no one is a fantastic one from the Queen of YA/Teen crime suspenses, Karen M. McManus and hell, she keeps the magic flowing with this one yet again.

I loved almost everything about it even though the twist in end was no-brainer. I guessed it early on considering everything was so clear.

Also, the title according to me is like, okaayyyy!

But all things considered, it a one I would recommend wholeheartedly to the readers of this genre.

Happy Reading!
