My second read by Nicole Williams and woosh, was it good. After the few angsty reads I've had these past days, I wanted something lovey-dovey minus all the drama and Fool Me Once was all that and more.

It starts with Emma who meets Chase Lawson, her ex and a famous singer in her 10 year high school reunion. Chase left her all those years ago, chose his career and fame over her and hasn't looked back once in these past years.

Then shows up at their high school reunion with an offer she can’t turn down. Six months. Seven figures. Yes, a Million Dollars and he gets a chance to clean up his reputation, while she gets the means to restore the old family farmhouse.

It’s only for show—hold hands in public, kiss for the cameras—but boundaries blur behind closed doors.
A tender love story for the ones who don't love extra drama just for the sake of it with a pro writing style.

Summing it all, Fool Me Once was a fun read for me which left me drooling with stars in my eyes..
Also, there is an unexpected turn in the end which I've never seen before.. So go for it and enjoy..

 Title- Unleashed: Fae Shifters 2 Author- Madilynn Dale Ratings- ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review- Unleashed is the second installment in the Fae Shifters series which continues the story after book one titled Releasing The Power Within. Madilynn Dale comes back with a very powerful and interesting return for the storyline.  It is fantasy novel that follows Liz through her journey as her life changes from a normal girl to a person with super natural powers.  I loved the way Madilynn has explored the magical fae world. It was very engrossing and engaging. The manner in which characters are developed sometimes shows that some work needs to be done but other things are quite good. The tale is masterfully woven and showcases an exquisite story. As it is not a standalone book, it is advised that one reads the first book in the series.  I found the plot interesting enough that I finished it in just two days.
