The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck by Mark Manson | Review by Mohini Jugran
Heya guys!! How have you all been? After a really busy week, I am finally here to talk about this bestselling self-help book by Mark Manson.
๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ซ: Mark Manson
๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ: โญโญโญ
๐๐จ๐จ๐ค ๐๐๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฉ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง: For decades, weโve been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F**k positivity," Mark Manson says. "Letโs be honest, shit is f**ked and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesnโt sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it isโa dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F**k is his antidote to the coddling, letโs-all-feel-good mindset that has infected American society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.
๐๐๐ฏ๐ข๐๐ฐ: When I started this one, I was very sceptical because it had kind of mixed reviews by everyone whom I follow. But personally, it's a book I'm glad that I've read. I had many "duh" moments for sure but I definitely take away some important things and maybe I'll return for some more thing later on. The writing style is very simple and you'll like it if you like quirky and straight-to-the-face tone even though there were times where I felt that he's trying too hard to be cool but then, that's okay. I can handle that much, I guess. I liked some of the little stories he shared along the chapters to put the point across. Overall, it was good. But if you've read other self-help books before then all the same things are repeated here in, well, a lot more casual tone.
